[ The nails are already held in place by her Semblance, but Pyrrha does shuffle over to assist as requested. She holds down the last roof tile, stealing the occasional glance over as he works. Her current mood is a bit of a jumble, an underlying notion of inalienable happiness that is compounded with an odd, new sort of shyness, and feeling like she said something uncomfortably incorrect.

[ A few more drops land on them, and Jaune looks at Pyrrha in pure horror. A hand on her face, he wipes some of it off to reveal what substance it really is. Pyrrha no doubt has noticed the same tiny splashes of brown all over Jaune's half-naked body. ]
[ This might be the worst thing to ever happen! ... Pyrrha grabs Jaune's hand and pulls him into the house with her. As soon as the window is closed behind them, they can see mud splattering the glass in heavy drops.
[ Safely inside, she watches the window grey as damp mud slides down its glass panes. The effect created by it is interestingly grotesque, not unlike a painting done for shock value -- and Pyrrha might have focused on that more, except his next words are ones she feels all the way down to her knees, a jolt that could definitely be weakening. Fortunately, Pyrrha has spent a literal year of her life building up an immunity to all the times Jaune unknowingly compromises her.
Except her spectacularly failed attempt at innuendo has kind of left them operating under false pretenses. Pyrrha's a bit shamed to realise it; as she thinks about how best to rectify that, her expression changes, twisting into something rueful, uncertain. ]

[ She's interrupted when, not unlike hail, a clod of frozen dirt hits the window hard enough to leave a spider crack in the glass. ]

Pyrrha can't quite get a bead on what she's feeling, although the weight of it is almost uncomfortable, like sucking in water in deep humdity. ]
[ He... might be getting the picture, but it's so unlike the Pyrrha he's known to suggest it, that even he hesitates to articulate it just in case HE'S WRONG. ]
[ Jaune does the thing and her heart lurches, more effectively and punishingly than it ever had before, a single rapid beat, apologetic as rivets. In a brief second, as something that could be mistaken for a naturally occuring settling of the floors, the house itself echoes her heart. Its foundations tremble (in a way that's far too inexciting to be a quake) and then still.
Truthfully, Pyrrha is glad he's the only one here to see the way she smiles. ]

[ That's plenty close, really. Pyrrha's smile grows wider, a bit toothy, as their foreheads touch in consequence. Her hands hesitate a moment, only that, before finding and holding both of his. ]

[ Pyrrha's back hits the wall, but there's hardly any aggression in it. That's fine. Their current predicament is more than enough to get her affected -- not quite bothered, but almost. It's a precipice she's been hovering at the edge of since (although she's unaware of it) the large crystal regulating emotional fallout within the city disappeared. Pyrrha's own amulet, wrapped loyally around her wrist, subtly changes colour every few seconds. Not one of them is a cool tone.
Well, that's not important, is it? The air around them fair crackles, an unease like the minutes before a storm erupts. If Pyrrha took even a moment to think, she might wonder why she's saying these things, why she's suddenly so dissatisfied with their slow, comfortable pace.
It's quite warm in here, now, leaving a faint flush across her face. There's one cure for that, but -- Well, maybe not in the hallway.
Her hands settle at his waist and then, for lack of anything else clever to add, she's kissing him.
[ Whoops, they left some mud on the wall there! But Jaune doesn't care about that, not with more important things going on in front of him. Although as good as this feels, it's his duty to pause and ask her... ]
