[ Jaune's first job takes him on the streets, selling hot dogs in particular. He doesn't draw a lot of customers, but he does end up feeding a stray cat. Later, that cat returns with more hungry cats. Feeling sorry for the starving animals, Jaune keeps sneaking them more hot dogs whenever he thinks nobody is looking. It's not like anyone will notice a few hot dogs gone missing, right?
The day ends with Jaune having zero hot dogs in the cart and zero profit to show for it. He's fired immediately. ]
[ Taking Pyrrha's suggestion, Jaune ends up being hired as a construction worker! He's helping with the efforts of building a new radio tower, to be precise. Unfortunately, he still isn't used to having a normal sleep schedule again, and ends up being fired when he's caught sleeping on the job. ]
[ A new day, a new job! Jaune is hired to transport a shipment on a truck, but the problem is he's not very good at driving one! When an accident occurs on the road (not caused by him!), Jaune hops out of the truck to help the survivors.
It's in this moment he realizes that he forgot to put the handbrake on before exiting the truck, and it ends up rolling down a steep road, crashing into a closed fireworks store.
Explosions ensue! Lots of fire!! Including the firing of Jaune Arc. ]
[ Jaune tries working night shift again, and for the most part, he's not having problems staying awake! Being a bouncer for a night club seems to be a perfect fit for him.
Problem is that he's too nice and lets everyone in. The night is a disaster, it's overcrowded, the gender ratio is unbalanced and it will take years for the night club to regain its good reputation.
[ He's back to trying a daytime job again! This time, as a barista. When he sees his fellow coworkers do some cool arty things with their coffee, Jaune attempts at giving it a go himself.
He tries hard, but when it starts to look nothing like what his coworkers achieved, he panics and tries to desperately fix it before the customer picks up their coffee. The end result ends up being something like this.
[ The bank has a job opening, and Jaune waits in line to be interviewed! It's a long line, unfortunately, and Jaune has gotten to know the person behind him quite well. He listens to the man's story, his struggle with finding a job that actually puts food on his family's table.
Jaune ends up being so moved that he gives up his interview and wishes the man good luck. ]
[ Today, Jaune is doing a quick side job for the beast hunting guild. Fighting monsters is still the only thing he prides himself in! The job, however, took a little longer than expected, and Jaune realizes he's running super late to his other job because of it - the Cherry Lane Music Company! In fact, he's so late that he barely has time to go change, nor does he remember to do so.
When he finally shows up, he's fired on the spot for coming to work covered in monster blood. ]
[ Jaune returns to the same job, now as Pluto Boobly. He does the exact same things he was doing yesterday, and yet somehow he's raking it in, and he's getting salacious notes from interested customers!!
Annoyed with his success as a fictional character, Jaune rips up the notes and walks out on his own. No way will he pretend to be someone he's not again! ]
[ Jaune finally finds a job that seems to be going well so far - selling paper cups to companies! It's only his first day, and he's reached quite a few handshake deals.
However, by the end of the day, a rival company starts up across the road and Jaune's company is driven out of business. ]
[ After a week of this whole madness, Jaune just bursts into Pyrrha's room much like at the start of this thread, and lets himself fall face down in her bed.
[ Pyrrha had just gotten home from work shortly before he arrives in her room, and immediately gives his antics her fully attention. ]
Aw. [ It's a sympathetic noise. She settles on the bed next to him, leaning down so her chin is resting on his back. Perhaps a bit needlessly touchy, but she also hasn't seen much of him this week, as he tried job after job. ]
Do you want to play "guess the colour of my underwear"? You know it always cheers you up...
[ It's not so much the game that cheers him up, it's all Pyrrha alone. She's good at that! Just the fact that he can come home to her is enough to keep any day from being a bad day. Having said that... ]

[ Jaune remembers to get his face out of her pillow, then tries speaking again. ]
[ He missed her, too, and... well, Pyrrha-time is a priority! In the end, her suggestion barely needed any qualifiers, because he's happy to take that break. ]

[ Propping her face up on her hand, she can't help but look slightly surprised. It wasn't the suggestion she expected from him. If Pyrrha had to bet, she would have put her money on train all day or do pushups with her on his back or gym, tan, laundry - every day. ]
Well, that could be fun. We could get a couple's massage, have a nice lunch... get an oxygen infusion pedicure...
