She barely even remembered getting home, or getting halfway undressed, or - ick, throwing up largely into her own hair? By the time she literally bumps into Jaune, she's knotted her hair up in an uncharacteristic bun and somehow lost her pants but kept her socks and sweater from the previous night. She's visibly clammy, a shade paler than is her wont, with dark shadows under her eyes and the imprint of a pillow case creasing her cheek. To put it simply, she hasn't looked this bad since the botched aura transferal.
So, when she tries to respond to Jaune's greeting, ]

[ ... she can barely get two words out before the unforgivable crime of opening her mouth spells disaster. Feeling her stomach lurch, more bile rising, she stops midword and ducks under his arm, making way for the toilet.
There are some seriously gross sounds happening now. ]
[ Jaune looks back on her with both fondness and commiseration, because he knows exactly how crappy this hangover feels. More than that, there's also some guilt in him, but the reason he approaches the puking huntress has nothing to do with making up for last night. He cares about her a great deal, the alcohol had already highlighted that truth, but he has also vowed to be her best friend and right now she needs him the most. ]
Oh, Pyrrha...
[ Not thinking about the events of the night before and focusing entirely on the present, Jaune rubs her back while trying to keep any loose hair out of her vomit projectile. Thankfully it's not a lot of work because she has her hair tied in a bun! Internally, he notes how cute that looks.
Externally? All he can say is this-- ]

[ It's said jokingly, in that lighthearted tone Pyrrha has come to be familiar with. ]
[ His hand on her back feels quite good, a soothing response to her angry stomach and searing headache. It's a long few seconds before Pyrrha is finished, at least for the time being; a few times, she believes she's truly emptied the contents of her stomach and then her throat constricts and more comes up. If this is meant to be a cautionary tale on the evils of underage drinking, then she's falling for it, hook, line and sinker.
Wiping her mouth with a scrap of toilet roll, Pyrrha flushes the toilet, brings down the seat cover, and leans against its side. Nice, cool porcelain... ]

[ She reaches out to feel his forehead, to see if it's as hot as hers. ]
[ When she feels his forehead, she'll find that it's probably not as hot as hers. Between the two of them, Pyrrha has definitely got the worse end of the deal. ]
[ As Pyrrha's hand still rests on his forehead, Jaune suddenly flinches and moves her arm away from him. It's almost as if events are repeating themselves, except this time the only reason he's doing it is because he feels like he's about to hurl.
He moves up to the toilet bowl and prepares to vomit, but... nothing comes out. ]
[ It's a sign of either how comfortable she is with him or how physically destroyed she is that Pyrrha doesn't so much as flinch away from the toilet bowl when Jaune props himself over it for his false alarm.
[ She does try to stand up, though. She wants to brush her teeth, get a glass of water, and go back to bed. (Nora's bed, because she threw up in her own.)
What ends up happening is she barely gets to her knees before she just... falls forward.
[ Don't you die on him again!! Not in that sexy sweater. Jaune crawls a little closer to her and pulls her up, just enough for her to sit upright for now at least. Standing can come later. ]

[ He does ease her into sitting. Despite her desire to remain face-first on the nice, cool floor, she's remarkably pliant. The queasy expression and slightly green tint to her complexion? Well, that'll out in 3... 2... 1...
She doesn't make it to the toilet, or even to the sink. His lap, on the other hand? ... ]
[ He's less exasperated at Pyrrha and more at where the vomit has landed. The sight of the thing alone is enough to make him want to throw up, too, and then they'll just be caught in an endless cycle of pukes. And apologies. Pukes and apologies.
Before that can happen, however, Jaune swings to face the other side and leans his back against Pyrrha - please hold him, partner! He's clumsily undoing his belt and trying to lose his pants while still sitting on the floor. ]

[ He says the name so confidently because he knows that Pyrrha knows who the man is. The only thing she might not have known is his relation to Ruby, it seems. ]

Finding out he's related to Ruby (and Yang) makes Pyrrha's blood run cold; she hadn't wanted any of this to follow her.
And Jaune knows - well, he knows something. He puts an ugly, bitter spin on it, refusing to lay any responsibility at her feet. She's not sure how she feels about that.

A fresh face isn't a large difference in the scheme of things, but it does help make her feel better. More herself. All within a second, she goes from surprised to confused to shyly pleased. The fact that he's willing to brush her teeth for her is adorable. It's unnecessary and a little idiotic, yes, but she knows the heartfelt gesture laying behind it.
The bathroom light changes from a harsh flourescent to a softer, muted pale pink as she takes the brush from him. ]
I think I can manage. [ Although -- ] Actually, can you ... help me back to my room? [ After she's done with brushing her teeth. ]
[ She sounds remarkably patient, given the Dad Voice she was just given. Then again, it's not like she knows that's what it was, thanks to her upbringing.

As tempting as it is to just stare, he ultimately steps forward again, standing beside her. But now he's closer to her again and it's still weird!! JUST LET THE WOMAN BRUSH HER TEETH AUGH ]

[ She's fine. The only further damage was to her dignity. It's probably for the best, all these little (or, in the case of throwing up on him, quite large) embarrassments that Jaune is witnessing.
