[ To be fair, she's barely had a chance to get to know him as he is now -- and he did run off after having a fight with Weiss, only to return and immediately want to talk about her. Nothing about the situation has convinced Pyrrha that Jaune let go of his feelings from when they were in school.
Pyrrha does take Weiss's judgment at face value, though. The alternative is - well, it's not something she really has the energy to deal with. ]

[ and she kind of doesn't want to think it's one of them. that would just make things... awkward. why couldn't they have just signed the letter? or better yet, why couldn't they have just walked up to her and told her about it in person? now she has a headache and it's not worth it.

Is it possible this was written by a child; it seems like the sort of thing that someone would write to mimic what they believe adults in love say to one another.
Well, I can keep an eye out when I'm home, in case another letter is dropped off.
[ She's not exactly advocating for Weiss to obsess over this but nor is she suggesting it should be dismissed entirely. Likely, it's the harmless affection of someone confused but well-meaning, or even an ill-advised prank.
